Fees and Payments
We make every effort to keep our fees as low as possible while still providing our patients with the very best in oral care. Our dentists understand that dental treatment can often be unexpected and will provide you with treatment options to best suit your personal and financial needs. After an examination, your dentist can also provide you with a written quote of your treatment options, so you will be financially aware before proceeding with any treatment.
At the end of your appointment, we have HICAPs facilities available for instant health fund claiming and we are preferred provider for a number of major health funds. If there is a gap to pay, we accept cash and EFTPOS payments as well as offering flexible payment plans. It is our practice policy that full payment is due at the time of service.
Flexible Payment Options
We offer a range of payment plans to help make your dental care more manageable. We’ve partnered with Afterpay, Humm and Zip. Each provider has its own approval process, terms, fees and eligibility criteria. Please review the details carefully or speak with our friendly staff if you need help choosing the option that best suits your needs.
Students and Seniors
Receive 10% discount on all general dental items.
Veterans
We provide bulk billed dental treatment for all veterans with a DVA Gold Card or eligible White Card. Please bring your card along with you to your appointment.
Child Dental Benefits Scheme
The Government’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule gives eligible families free children’s dental up to $1,132 in benefits per child every two calendar years. At Lowood Dental we bulk bill dental treatment for all eligible children under this schedule.
A child’s eligibility is assessed at the beginning of each year and lasts the whole calendar year. A child is eligible if they are aged 2-17 years for at least 1 day of the calendar year, are eligible for Medicare and are either part of a family receiving Family Tax Benefit Part A or one of the following Australia Government payments:
- Youth Allowance
- ABSTUDY
- Disability Support Person
- Parenting Payment
- Special Benefit
- Carer Payment
- Double Orphan Pension
- Veteran’s Children Education Scheme, if the child is 16 or over
- Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act Education and Training Scheme, if the child is 16 or over
